Innovative Thunderbolt-powered USB hubs
Our innovation lies in the unique way we’ve utilised Thunderbolt technology, traditionally used for high-speed data transfer. Our ThunderSync USB hubs enable high-speed and scalable syncing, charging and control of large device fleets, turning hours-long processes into minutes. Most importantly, our hubs eliminate USB endpoint limitations, making our solution truly unique.
Our newest ThunderSync5-C16 PD hub, launching in autumn 2025, is powered by Thunderbolt 5. It delivers up to 80 Gbps of upstream data and intelligently distributes it with a guaranteed minimum of 1.25 Gbps and up to 5 Gbps per port, providing 7x faster throughput than alternative USB hubs.

- Seattle Education District reduced device provisioning time from 1.5 hours to just 12 minutes using our Thunderbolt hub.
- A Fortune 500 customer testing our ThunderSync5-C16 PD hub reported restore times of 13–15 minutes per batch of 16 devices, compared to 30+ minutes with previous hubs, and reduced restore failures from 4–5 per batch to zero.
- Synetic Technologies recouped the hub investment within hours and remain a loyal Cambrionix customer.

The ThunderSync3-C10 was launched to space
On April 21st the ThunderSync3-C10 hub received official certification for use aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and successfully launched into space. The hub was included as part of the payload aboard SpaceX Commercial Resupply Mission, marked the 32nd resupply services flight delivering essential cargo to the orbiting lab.
To meet the stringent standards required for operation aboard the ISS, the ThunderSync3-C10 underwent an intensive certification process, including rigorous testing under extreme conditions like high heat and electromagnetic stress. The device demonstrated its ability to reliably deliver both power and data to critical onboard hardware. It also meets globally recognised safety and environmental standards, holding certifications including UL, CE, FCC, and RoHS.
