From call tracking to AI-powered insights: Why being shortlisted means so much to Mediahawk

We’re thrilled to share that Mediahawk has been shortlisted for SaaS Company of the Year at the UK Business Tech Awards 2025.

We’re a tight-knit team of 24 experienced and dedicated people, who care deeply about helping marketers make better decisions. Since 2002, we’ve been innovating in the world of call tracking and marketing attribution, and we now support more than 4,000 marketers in over 80 countries.

Whether it’s a care home looking to increase occupancy, or an agency wanting to prove campaign ROI for their clients, our software helps deliver clarity, saves time, and drives results.

We entered the awards to share how our work is making a real difference to marketers – and to celebrate the people behind it all.

A quick introduction to Mediahawk

Mediahawk was born out of a frustration: marketers weren’t able to properly measure what was driving calls and, more importantly, revenue. Fast-forward to today, and we offer a full suite of tools to track multichannel journeys, link inbound calls to campaigns, and – most recently – analyse conversations at scale using AI.

We work with marketers across a range of sectors, but we’ve built a strong reputation in automotive, care homes, private healthcare, and marketing agencies, where performance and accountability matter most.

We’ve got UK-based teams spanning product development, client services, marketing, and sales. All laser-focused on helping our clients do great marketing.

And we’re proud to have low staff turnover. We believe that speaks volumes about our company culture and the team spirit that drives everything we do.

The work we entered (and why we’re so proud of it)

Our entry centred on our product innovation, especially the development of Speech Insights – our AI-powered conversation analytics tool. It analyses 100% of calls and enables marketers to ask questions that explore what matters most to them, such as, “Did the caller achieve their desired outcome?” or “Are calls ending in booked appointments?” and instantly get actionable answers to help refine their marketing strategy.

Speech Insights has been a game-changer for our clients. It doesn’t just save hours of manual work. It brings a whole new layer of insight that marketers can use to improve campaigns, train staff, and refine customer experience.

Here are a few standout examples:

  • MHA (Methodist Homes) use our insights, attribution and call tracking tools to cut their Google Ads cost per acquisition (CPA) by 32%, giving them more impact from the same budget.
  • AvailableCar use Speech Insights to understand the nature and intent of their inbound calls – distinguishing between sales and non-sales enquiries so that they can optimise their marketing activity to drive more sales calls.
  • Springup PR, a specialist care home marketing agency, use Mediahawk to show which marketing channels were driving the best enquiries – helping them significantly increase occupancy for their clients.

These case studies are a great example of how we tailor our SaaS platform to deliver real results in real-world settings.

We’re proud of more than just the tech

One thing that makes this award recognition even more special is that it’s not just about the technology. It’s also about the people, values and passion that drive everything we do.

Helping marketers learn and grow is a huge part of that. Our annual Marketing Xchange Analytics event brings together senior marketing leaders for a day of expert talks, interactive roundtables, and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. It’s designed to spark discussion, tackle today’s most pressing challenges, and inspire data-driven decision-making that drives real results.

That same spirit of impact runs through our team. Every year, our team picks a Charity of the Year. In 2024, we partnered with Camphill MK, a brilliant local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. We got stuck into fundraising with everything from Mario Kart tournaments to quiz lunches – and we were proud to be their biggest JustGiving fundraiser of the year, raising over £3,300.
