Founded in 2015, UniHomes is a rapidly growing proptech company providing market-leading products in the student accommodation sector. Our platform allows students to compare the market and find their dream home easily.

We partner with letting agents nationwide to advertise and generate leads for thousands of student properties. Our advertising portal connects letting agents with students and generates hundreds of thousands of enquiries, helping to fill their portfolios quicker and easier than ever before.

Over the past seven years the company has grown from a team of 3 to a team of over 60, across a range of specialisms including technology, sales, customer service and marketing. In 2020, UniHomes also acquired student utility package specialist, ‘Split The Bills’, which continues to operate in its own capacity within the UniHomes group.

Since the rapid acceleration of UniHomes to date, we felt it was now the right time to enter the ‘Proptech – Innovator of the Year Award’ and finally be recognised for our substantial growth and contributions. We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for this award and it pays testament to the incredibly hard work our team have dedicated to our company, which has led to the success we’ve become today.

Upon entering the award, we highlighted the internal processes our Technology team have implemented to ensure we’re revolutionising the way business is done in the world of student rentals. By integrating automated technologies, it has allowed letting agents nationwide to amalgamate their CRM systems with ours, for a seamless process; ultimately making our business an extension of their own.

We aim to keep students across the country informed with all relevant ideas, news and tips to enhance their university experience. We see ourselves as being the thought leaders when it comes to guiding new students through one of the most influential periods of their lives, and we connect with them in meaningful ways through TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook to install trust in our brand.
