ThreeTwoFour is a UK-based information security and technology risk service provider that has grown rapidly since starting in 2020 from 3 employees to a team of over 25. We have recently become part of Node4, a managed IT service provider that is built to deliver change that really matters.

We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for Cyber Security Company of the Year by the UK Business Tech Awards 2023.

Winning this award is about celebrating the accomplishments of our team. It, therefore, holds significant value for ThreeTwoFour, as it serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of our exceptional team. The award would be a recognition of their relentless effort in finding solutions for clients and delivering outcomes that fix our clients’ problems.

We appreciate the opportunity to showcase our work and are excited to engage with other finalists and understand their value propositions.

About ThreeTwoFour

We have successfully delivered cyber and IT risk change and transformation programmes, implemented cutting-edge security solutions, and provided support in regulatory and information security projects for a range of financial services firms, including an FTSE 250 Bank and dynamic FinTech startups.

Our core team in the UK are supported by specialists from the US and Europe. This global presence enables us to offer 24/7 assistance, ensuring that our clients receive timely and efficient support, regardless of their location or time zone.

Our mission is simple; to fix client problems. Rather than employing consultants to provide a list of recommendations, our clients engage us to solve security and control issues that have defined outcomes.

Delivering transformative change

ThreeTwoFour has been engaged with a Financial Services firm for several years. The client originally received a challenging control report with numerous recommendations related to technology and information security.

The required remediation received significant attention from key decision-makers in the business, including the Board and C-level executives. The challenge the Firm’s security team faced was how to effectively plan and deliver a large-scale remediation programme while also being responsible for business-as-usual activities. The organisation was looking for a trusted partner that could take ownership of the delivery of their remediation programme and could work with internal and external stakeholders to implement the solutions.

ThreeTwoFour established a transformation programme to manage multiple long-term projects, addressing the recommendations and improving control in areas including Data Loss Prevention, Risk Management and Board-level cyber maturity reporting.

ThreeTwoFour’s primary objective was to ensure that recommendations were implemented based on agreed timelines and that all the relevant stakeholders were regularly informed of the progress of the remediation. ThreeTwoFour also wanted to ensure that any of the resolutions were not purely stop-gap fixes. The solutions had to enable the business to resolve the control issues but also deliver real change to the business.

Making a difference beyond our clients

One of our recent initiatives is “Tech Vets” – a programme to provide the benefits of military-style delivery discipline directly to clients, while also giving opportunities to those leaving the armed forces.

The Programme is an extensive 9-month on-the-job opportunity in which veterans work alongside our experienced team, to help them build skills and expertise to transition into a technology or cyber security career.

We are also proud that women make up nearly 40% of the ThreeTwoFour team. Our approach to team building has been to hire the best people, regardless of their location, which has led us to create a diverse team of individuals. The success of our business is based on bringing different people together, and through their collaboration, delivering great results for our clients.

We look forward to the awards ceremony in October and to engage with all the other finalists.
